A pet peeve with public bathrooms!

I hope you will share!

OK it’s time to share one of my little pet peeves I have when it comes to public rest rooms. Other then finding a wet toilet seat when walking in (heard of wiping it down?!) I have a toilet paper pet peeve. My friend Terry at My Journey with Candida would totally agree!

When the toilet paper is hanging down, and almost touching the floor, I have to rip it ff and throw it away. Even if it is not totally touching the floor I have to rip it off. Not totally sure why, but it freaks me out a bit to use the paper. Even if it is hanging down at all I still have to rip it off.I know it is weird but I guess I assume that their are more germs on it when its hanging down or something, who knows. I just won’t use it if it’s hanging.

Anyone else like this?

What is your pet peeve?

Have a good one!

I totally agree with this one and I use my foot to push the handle and rush out so I don’t get sprayed by the fine mist of icky stuff. Sometimes too much knowledge is a bad thing. ewww

I’m a little bit like you. If it is touching the floor it must go in the trash! there is no telling what is on that floor and yeah… I’d rather leave wal-mart with a disease free vagina… kind of like when I entered it LOL.

My biggest pet peeve that is related to something like this would be the poop filled toilets.

Why can’t you flush? Why can’t you turn around and check again and maybe even flush twice? Heck, put a sign on the door that says I didn’t flush… I don’t care. Just don’t make me flush it.

And yes, there are other stalls… but what do you do when you REALLY have to go… I mean so bad that you ran from the first bathroom that was filled all the way to the back hoping it was empty just to find it was full too. At that point you have to a) flush the toilet or b) pee yourself.

And since the bathroom is FULL… everyone will know. :/ So yeah, you have to flush it. And maybe it’s just me but there is just something extra gross about someone else’s number two. :/

AMEN to everything you said Amanda. Other peoples poop is so stinking gross! There have been times I about wet myself trying to find a clean bathroom, only to have to flush someone poop in the end. Makes you wonder what those people’s bathrooms look like..gross thought!

My bathroom pet peeve? Hmm…. It’s more of a MIL pet peeve in the bathroom… I HATE when I go into their bathroom and she hasn’t flushed all day and her used tissue is tossed in the waste can. And, yes, it’s dirty if you know what I mean. It drives me crazy b/c I have 2 little ones who have to use that bathroom when we visit. I can never clean my hands enough when we finish.

  7. LOL….. I know exaclty what you mean. I rip off the part that the person before me might of touched too.

I stand and squat so I am no where near the seat. I can’t believe some people sit on the seats in a public bathroom. How Gross!!

    Thanks for the mention Tawna!!

My pet peeve is NO toilet paper at all in a public restroom.

    Ah, I love bathroom conversations.

Okay, for me, it’s the “silent partner” offender. You know the type…it’s the person you realize is in the bathroom and not making a single noise.

You know what they want. They want you to leave so they can finish what it is they were DOing.

I hate that! Just accept the fact that you chose THIS moment to go DO that.

Makes me want to wait outside until their done and point and call them out on their DUties.
