FYI: I meant to post this yesterday but ended up christmas shopping so I am a day off! P90X day 2 will be today!
Wow day 1 of P90X was a little brutal. It was arms and chest so my butt was safe from being sore after surgery but I can feel a burn. I do not have bands or a pull up bar so I used weights instead. Here are my little weight friends. lol
I can’t afford to buy the bands a pull up bar so close to Christmas but since I can feel the burn pretty good I know that these will work!
I will do this again tomorrow!
Measurements:
Well I have definitely gained some inches due to the surgery. Even though I knew this was a possibility (a good possibility) it is still a bit depressing to see the numbers. Here they are.
November 19 December 14 Loss or Gain
Bust: 41 41 0
Under bust: 35 1/2 35 3/4 G-1/4
Waist: 40 3/4 41 1/2 G-3/4
C-section: 42 42 1/2 G-1/2
Hips: 44 1/2 45 G-1/2
Thigh: 25 25 1/4 G-1/4
Arm: 12 11 3/4 L-1/4
My first instinc is to freak out and be depressed and go eat something! i can’t do that, that is a step backwards I can’t afford to take. I just went through surgery and a slump with feeling good so what did I expect. I have to keep my attitude strong and take this as a learning experience. I can reverse this back to loss real quick. I feel good now and I am back on the saddle.
What I learned? Well, see how fast we can get out of shape and how long it takes to get into shape. Don’t stop!!!!
Cool! Just found these on amazon and they are more affordable now so have these here to remind me to get these come the new year! This will pump up my work out and not too shabby on price, yay!

Thanks again for helping. P90X works well and will make you hurt. Its worth it.
Good job on getting started! I'm sort of putting it off until after the holidays. Ha!
I've got a 5k on Jan.2...so that's my launching point!

I don't blame you, I would not start this while traning for a race. Let me know how you do with it!
I am following you back. Just keep working out and don't get discouraged. You will see results. Nutrition is a huge part too. (PS I am also an instructor on personal trainer:) Have a great day!!
Thanks for the follow. Following you from http://www.everydayphilanthropistblog.com
I would love to hear your honest opinion on the p90x system (when you heal enough to really get in to it.)
:)
Thanks so much, Angela
