Overall experience with P90X
It was hard and I could barely do half of the workouts full out when I first started. I always did the entire workout (well except Yoga for a couple of weeks, it is 90 freaking minutes)! Now I can do the entire workout full out. Am I as vigorous as Tony Horton and the others on the DVD? No way, but I am 100% better then I was on day one. Would my measurements and weight loss be greater keeping up with them 100% of the time? Yes absolutely.
Now for round 2, my hypothesis is that my weight loss will be close to the same as the first time. Why am I not saying more? Well because I only have another 15-20 pounds to lose and I am gaining a lot of muscle in this program. Oh and most importantly I have gained STAMINA!
I do like the workouts as they make me feel good that I am working out so hard. I do have to say that the Yoga is still not my favorite and I am pulling out a Windsor pilates or a shorter Yoga routine on Yoga days for the lean program because I simply do dislike the 90 minutes of Tony’s Yoga. I don’t think this will matter because I am still doing it!
If you have wondered about trying this program I would definitely give it a huge thumbs up and a 8.5/10. I am not giving it a 10 for two reasons, the Yoga is not my favorite and Tony Horton just does not shut-up ever! That is OK though, he gets the job done. I guess if I am giving it another go and doing the LEAN P90X this time I must like it enough..right?
My stomach after my c-section is being so stubborn so I am hoping the LEAN program of P90X will take more off the stomach. As I said in my earlier post too that I am adding in Chalene’s Turbo Jam, Ab Jam into my day too to combat this!
Keep coming back for round two’s updates!
Have a great day everyone!

Tawna,
Your daughter did great at taking pictures.
11 Pounds is good, especially at home and doing it yourself. That is one pound a week which is really good.
Keep up the good work!! You are looking GREAT!
