Gardening for exercise! finally fnished digging!

I have been digging out this garden for a few weeks now and finished it today! Well it has been more then the garden I am showing you in my video (below). I have dug out the entire side of the fence and planted, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and watermelon as well.

This has been a wonderful workout and I can feel it. My arms are always sore, so you know they are getting strong. I also have had sore abs so they are getting a good workout too.

Here is what I came in looking like today.

You should have seen my legs and back of my hair. I had mud everywhere. Well…mud is good for the skin and it was kind of fun to play in the mud again!
Anyway, here is a short video of my main garden!

  • I am always a fan of anyone who plants a garden. The most rewarding feeling when you start to sow your harvest. Like you said great workout also. Try mowing the lawn. I mowed our lawn yesterday and I was drenched when done. It felt so good after a cold shower :)

    You have quite a big garden!! They are a lot of work, aren't they?

    We have been eating squash for the last two weeks and I made Hubs, zucchini bread.

    I compost all the scraps back into my garden so it fertilizes it organicly.
