Oh Ya, it’s working!!!

So if you missed my post last week about my new way of looking at weight loss around the holidays then you missed it and can read it here! Oh ya…it is working like a charm!

This past weekend I did NOT eat well…at all! We had a dance party and I had all these stinking left-overs in my fridge and right now, I am not able to afford to throw anything away.

I ate my normal meals per day but I ate a lot of carbs I should have and some Halloween candy, popcorn and a handful of diet coke. I actually felt horrible on Sunday and thought “good lord I am going to be 5-pounds more after this weekend), BUT….remember when I said I was NOT going to quit working out, especially during times when I may give in to party food etc…well I didn’t and BAM, no weight gain at all! I should have gained a few pounds. I had pizza for 3-days!

I did feel bloated and full all weekend. I did drink some water but drank more soda than normal. Even diet coke and help you gain water weight as carbonation is a killer for water retention. But I stayed the same!

Thanks goodness.

So today I am back on track and feel great. I spent 40 minutes at the gym too  lifting my weights. So happy that my nasty food weekend did not set me back.
