The Professional Skin Care System from ToiletTree is a very nice and affordable product. For just under $40 you get the water-resistant handle, 2 facial brushes (1 soft and 1 medium), one body brush and a pumice sphere.
My favorite thing about this product is that it is WATER RESISTANT. There are a couple different reasons why this is a cool feature.
- It does not take up space on my counter as it fits nicely in my shower hanger.
- I can use it while in the shower so it does not take much time out of my day to use.
- I don’t forget about it because it is right in front of my face when I get in my daily shower.
The only issue I had with it is that I used the medium facial brush too soon. I started out with the medium instead of the soft and it did cause me to break out a little. Not a lot, but enough I decided to try the softer brush. When I switched the brush m y acne subsided and I was happy. Then about 2-weeks later I started using the medium brissle brush again and the acne has not come back. My guess is that I should have started with the soft brush to begin with. Oh well…live and learn right?
The other thing I did notice with this system is that my face felt kind of dry and turned a light shade of red after using it. It was worse the first time or two and got better after that. If you have a good moisturizer that you can use after exfoliation that is the key. The redness only lasted for an hour or two so it was not a big deal. Now that I have used it for just about 30-40 days the redness clears up in about the same time but the dryness is not really there anymore. So it just took some getting used too.
Do I like this system? Yes I do, I like it a lot. I will say it again…I love the water-resistant feature.
I do notice that those little tiny white heads I would have all over my chest and shoulders are not really there anymore either. There were just tiny little bumps and sometimes they would turn to acne. Since I have been using the ToiletTree Professional Skin Care System I have not noticed as many bumps at all and have had a decrease in acne on the face, neck, chest and arms. I have not really tried the body brush on other parts of my body yet, but I will start using it on the lower body now that I k now it works.
