If I can do P90X anyone can! Week 11 baby!

I hope you will share!

Wow! It has been one tough workout today. Plyometrics is jump training and this is week 11 so I have done this workout quite a few times by now but today I am the most sore I have been with it. Why you ask? Well….I am doing more and more of the exercises the way they are suppose to be done and of course this makes me work harder so the soreness is there again.

There is one part of the workout where you literally hop on one leg for 30 seconds at a time. If that does not sound hard, then stop reading, hop on one foot til it hurts, time yourself and then see if you even make it past 10-15 seconds. This I could not do in the beginning but today I made the full 30 seconds on EACH leg TWICE and my legs and hips are still on fire!

There are a lot of other things that I did today too. I squat and actually touched the floor when I was suppose to. Instead of doing the cheat “catch step” I was actually full on jumping around from back to front and not stopping to take a break before Toni Horton was done.

I sweat more and I feel more, ouch but SWEET!

This is what it is all about! I am getting more and more fit and able to do  more and more of the exercises the way they are designed to be.

For all those that shy away form this workout because “it’s too hard,” you don’t HAVE to start out being able to do every exercise perfectly or at all! The whole point is to get in better shape, feel good and fight the obesity epidemic! I am doing that and it feel s good, even though I am sore!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

  • So I was wondering if you have also been doing his meal plan for P90X? I have the DVD's and meal plan but haven't started yet. Wondered if you liked it or had any problems with it? Sorry if you wrote a post about all this and I missed it.

  • No I have not been doing the P90X meal plan. I have a MS in Nutrition so I am pretty good and my own plans so that is why. If you are not familiar with how to come up with one your self I have heard, from many others that they did benefit from the meal plan.

I did not post about that before so thanks for asking the question to get out to my readers.

If you decide to or not to please keep me posted on your results!
