Losing weight, saving money and less dinner stress.

Sharing because why not, someone else may benefit from it too.

I’ve lost 7 pounds since Christmas. 2 things I have done different that explains it.

  1. Got 2 puppies. Whew, the energy.
  2. Signed up for 2 meal deliveries. Portions are planned out and clean eating. I meal prep every Tuesday and Wednesday (make all 5 meals). Having the healthy portions ready to throw in the microwave is magic. I even take them to the dance studio because there is a microwave. My kids and hubs eat them too.

It seems like a lot of $ at first but only having to buy breakfast items and lunches for the boy at the grocery has saved me about $150 a month on my Kroger bill. Not impulse buying and thinking…”maybe I’ll make this.”
I saved my receipts for 3 months from the grocery and compared to my meal delivery months and I definitely saved.

We still have one weekend day of pizza with the in laws. We eat clean for 6 and eat pizza on the 7th day. The good is definitely out weighing the bad and making me feel much better and losing inches so yay!
