Review:
I have been searching for a digital scale for a long time. My eyes are not the greatest anymore and it is hard as heck to squint to read an old dial scale. I have to bend over to see the little notches and that is with my glasses on. Yes I am old, I know, but it drives me nuts. The biggest problem is that when I squat down to check the numbers, the hand bounce back and forth and I have a hard time getting a good read.
So about 6 months ago I bought a very inexpensive scale from a local store and ti was about $9.99. I was happy to get one so cheap but the problem is that it was “cheap.” It read so inconsistent. I could stand on it and it would read an umber and then step on and off again and it would read different almost every time. I neve3r felt like I was being weighed properly.
So then I found EatSmart and I told them I was int he market for an accurate scale. I was DONE with my cheap crappy scales. They told me about a new scale that just came out and it is called the Precision Tracker Bathroom Scale. I was skeptical at first, because my luck with scales is not good. However I have to say that this scale is pretty darn accurate.I knew the name in the scale said precision tracker but I really did not realize exactly what that meant until I got the scale delivered AND I was so excited. This scale not only weighs me consistent, on multiple floors in my house, but also the same during the day if I step on and off multiple times.
Now you can set up to 8 people on this scale. This means that you can TRACK your weight progress, which is the part that shocked me. You set yourself to a number of 1-8 and when you step on it it will calculate who you are by your weight. The only thing that might go wrong is is there are multiple people stepping on the scale that are real close in weight. Now in my house…not a problem. My husband is 6.2 and I am 5.6 and the kids are ages 3 and 6. Our weight is all over the place so this scale does remember us, really well.
To set it is a peace of cake. You hit the set button and pick a number with the arrow. Then you step on it and wait til it weighs you. That’s it.
Then the next time you step on it it finds your weight and then flashes your preset number and tells you what you weighed before and how much weight up or down you have gone.
I was actually PMSing the say I got the scale so within 2-days I was down 2.7 pounds. That was fun.
Here is a picture of my son standing ont he scale. He is preset. I tried to get a good picture of the digital numbers but had a hard time, with my flash. So as you can see he is pre-set to number 4 and his weight was the same the second time he stood ont he scale at 24 pounds. I would have taken a picture of myself on this scale but no way am I showing you my weigh…LOL
I love this scale and so does my family. The kids think it real fun to step on and off all the time too so it is out constantly.
