OK I love Disney, I do. I am a huge fan however I really want to see a different princess movie. How about not one where the woman spends her life wishing for her prince and he show up and automatically they are in love. Get what I mean?
Most movies have the woman chasing after the prince. I would like to see one where the prince chases the “average” girl, non-princess and she does not want him back,
she marries the average guy. The prince can even be nice and handsome but this time he does not get his pick of the women simply because he is the prince.
I get tired of the girl and prince falling in love in like 3 seconds and marrying that day because the prince “tells her they are getting married.” Then we wonder why our girls have a false sense of reality and stay with the first guy that shows interest. Really…how about a reality love story, by Disney, with a prince and a girl who’s life aspiration is to not be a princess but really find her true love.
The princess and the frog was close to this, I liked this one. Tiana actually had goals and reams beyond finding a husband to bare children for.
OK so there is my rant/vent for the day. I still love Disney and the old princess movies, I wold just like to see some reality now.

I'm not fond of the Disneyfication of the old fairy tales. There were a lot more strong female characters in the original tales. From a preview I saw next summer Pixar is doing a princess tale–it's called Brave and looks to have a strong female lead character. We shall see what they've done.
I completely agree! I wish they'd think outside of the box a little bit more when they come out with their princess movies!
That would be a great movie to see the Prince chase the Princess. Maybe you should write a book… I know you have the writing skills!!
