P90X, the beginning of week 2

I hope you will share!

I am writing these posts on the actual day I work out but there may be posted on different days due to other postings as I only like to post once a day.

Today was the beginning of week two. I made it through week one and am so proud of myself. I have met and heard from others that did not even make it through the first work out or the first week so I am glad I did it.

I will probably post a couple times a week now as now it is the same work outs every day until the end of week 3. After that I believe it changes them up a bit and we will see what postings will suffice then.

I did chest and back today and I kept a record, as Tony says over and over, and I did more reps on everything! On a handful I made myself do just one more rep but on about 2/3 of the sets I actually did between 3-5 more. This went for push-ups, band pull-ups etc. I was very excited since I have only been doing this a week so far. I am already stronger and more able to do this work out after only 1 week, whihoo!

It even went buy a lot faster for me. I did not dread every single set and have energy afterwards.

I will tell you that the Kenpo I did yesterday, was so much fun but today I woke up the sorest I have been all week.  OMG I had a hard time getting up this morning. However, after the first 3 sets of chest and back today, I no longer felt the soreness and 10 minutes after the work out (now) I still feel good.

I can’t wait to see how I do on the Yoga this week.  That will for sure be my next post unless I have the urge to post about P90X before then. So far I have loved every work out but the Yoga.

    Good luck with your second week of P90x, this is where you can start to lose motivation since your body hurts so much from the intense workout. Just keep going at it and this too shall pass :).
