Today was a normal Friday for me. Got up, got my daughter and hubs out the door. Made breakfast. Got the boy and me dressed and headed off to the gym.
It was a nice sunny cold day and I was excited to do my workout today.

So if you missed my post last week about my new way of looking at weight loss around the holidays then you missed it and can read it here! Oh ya…it is working like a charm!
This past weekend I did NOT eat well…at all! We had a dance party and I had all these stinking left-overs in my fridge and right now, I am not able to afford to throw anything away.
I ate my normal meals per day but I ate a lot of carbs I should have and some Halloween candy, popcorn and a handful of diet coke. I actually felt horrible on Sunday and thought “good lord I am going to be 5-pounds more after this weekend), BUT….remember when I said I was NOT going to quit working out, especially during times when I may give in to party food etc…well I didn’t and BAM, no weight gain at all! I should have gained a few pounds. I had pizza for 3-days!
I did feel bloated and full all weekend. I did drink some water but drank more soda than normal. Even diet coke and help you gain water weight as carbonation is a killer for water retention. But I stayed the same!
Thanks goodness.
So today I am back on track and feel great. I spent 40 minutes at the gym too lifting my weights. So happy that my nasty food weekend did not set me back.

Remember when Dr. Oz first started his show; he would not promote any third party product. I heard him many times say he did not believe in promoting health products for companies. Now over the past year, it least, maybe longer than that, all I get is e-mails, calls, and advertisements everywhere about what Dr. Oz is promoting.
Green coffee bean extract, Garcinia Cambogia and some wrinkle cream. This is just what I have heard about lately, I think there was also some Raspberry tablet a year or two back as well.
I am finding Facebook ads, Google ads, you name it and frankly I am tired of it!

The leaves are changing beautifully right now and the kids are loving them! What is not fun for everyone is raking! We did have a leaf blower but had to give it back to the in-laws so now it is rake time.
I did purchase two small rakes for the kids but you know how that goes…5-minutes ya they are done. Well when they get older I will argue that but for now it is actually easier to rake myself and let them play.
