Connection Between Exercise & Cancer

I am very excited to share my second guest post. This post is a little different but I am in agreeance with it’s message so I wanted to share it with my readers. Knowing the correlation of exercise for cancer is definitely, in my opinion, very important as I feel that not many know that the connection exits. Thanks for reading! Here it is!

ps…remember I want your weight loss or healthy lifestyle story… if this article inspires you to share your story please contact me after you read this very important topic about exercise and cancer.

The Connection Between Fitness and Cancer is Stronger Than You Think!

In the past, researchers thought that exercise affected cancer rates solely by fighting obesity. However, recent studies have shown that the connection goes deeper. Those who view exercise as a part of their lives are at a lower risk of developing cancer, and those who have been diagnosed with cancer can improve their odds of success by exercising regularly. The exact mechanisms behind these connections are not fully known, but there are some well-supported theories. Here are some of the ways that fitness helps those who are fighting cancer. WTFriday…delivered cigarette smoke!

IMAG0086I do a a lot of on line shopping. It really saves me a lot of time and money. I use the free shipping on a lot of web sites because, usually, in the end, it turns out to be comparable and cheaper. If I did not have to load up the kids and deal with sibling rivalry and constant fighting when i was out, I may spend more time shopping local. Today I am a bit frustrated. I got a package in the mail and upon opening the small box Continue reading

Which are you going to let stay?

I run across a whole bunch of images on facebook and 9/10 times I don’t even look at them because they are overwhelming and I have better things to do. However, I think there was a reason for me seeing this one today…it really is true and goes along with my mental and physical journey to better myself. It’s funny how sometimes it only takes something so little to make you think and get yourself back on track. Anyway, I will share the image with you below. I don’t know who to give credit to as it was plastered all over Facebook. If anyone knows, let me know so I can give proper credit. Continue reading

The best pill holders I have found!

Anyone that knows me knows that I take supplements every day. It would be wrong of me to say, or for most to say, that they get 100% of their nutrition in their daily food. It is hard to do, especially in a fast pace, impatient world. It can be done, but how many people do you know that actually do it? I will share those supplements with you but first I want to share these awesome pill holders I found on Amazon. Since I take more then most people I was not able to find anyone local that had a container big enough for all my vitamins. The picture to the right shows the pill boxes I use…they are sweet and have so many conveniences! IMAG0764The “B” and the “T” on the boxes are written on there by me. Both me and the hubs use them so I needed to have them labeled.

Not only do they fit all my pills, with room to spare, Continue reading

MIRACLE OF YOGA:

Christian Leeby has years of experience seeing students feel better both physically and emotionally from practicing yoga correctly. Visit him at www.miracleofyoga.com.

Every mom knows. Being fit before, during, and after having a baby is just as much about fitness of the mind as it is about the body. That’s why yoga is the ultimate fitness for new moms. Not only does it help the body, it also helps the mind.

Proper yoga practice strengthens weak muscles and stretches tight ones, which is great for taking care of aches and pains. As the muscles start to balance out, they pull more evenly on the skeleton, and joint problems also improve. That’s common sense when you think about it. Good stretching helps the body feel better.

What many people don’t know is that yoga also helps the body Continue reading

WTFriday…ENGLISH…PLEASE!!!!!

UntitledOMG it is only 8:31 am and I have already hung up on two customer service reps…actually it all started a few days ago,, but this morning was the icing on the cake! So happy WTFriday…I am pissed off already!

I have had to contact THREE different customer service agents in the last 3-4 days. One is for a credit card I have, the other is for an old cable company I had, and the third was for a mistake on a charge to my bank account for a service I cancelled back in March. Let me tell you…if I could have shoved my hand through the phone and slapped everyone of the representatives I would have… Continue reading

Mine and ny husbands daily supplements

UntitledI have said it before and I will say it again…it is hard to eat 100% of your nutrition every day. Yes it can be done and few, very few actually do it. I try real hard to eat healthy and incorporate a healthy lifestyle to my kids but I still come up short of MOST my essential nutrients every day. So I take daily supplements. I don’t soley depend on supplements. That is something that some companies try to get you to think when they are pushing you to buy their product. Supplements work in “conjunction” with a healthy diet. If you strive for good/better health, then you have to do it all. You have to eat right, exercise a bit, and find your missing nutrition and fill it in with something healthy. Continue reading

Helping my non-eater child eat!

I was very blessed to have a first child that eats everything I give her. From day one she was a blessing as I could give her any vegetable, drink, etc and she would eat it. There are literally only 2-3 foods she does not care for. Since she has been such a good eater I really don’t force her to eat the few foods she does not like because she is so good why fight with her…she eats more then most kids.

Now my son on the other hand…not so lucky. This boy came out fussy and picky from day one. It has been a hard adjustment for me. I got spoiled with the first child so it has taken me years to figure out how to get this boy to eat since my first child was so easy…look at that face…cute as hell but stubborn to boot! DSC00839

I have come up with a few different stretegies in the last few years and this dice eating has been by far the best one, well so far anyway. Continue reading
