Gas prices CLIMB but it least groceries went on SALE!

It seems that every holiday weekend gas prices climb to obscene levels and it makes me so mad. It is really not very fair that gas prices hike up on weekends when people put more miles on their cars. This has been happening for years, and I know it will keep happening.

Groceries have gone up, as a whole, too and this is frustrating as wages have not. However I have noticed over the last few years that it least the grocery stores seem to put items on sale when they know they are going to be popular.

I have noticed this for Easter, and always find eggs for .99cent to $1.00 at pretty much every grocery.

I have been shopping a bit over the last 5 days and these are a few things I have found on sale. Some may not be on sale anymore, but most of this I have seen in the last 48 hours so I thought I would share. Continue reading →

I fit into my first goal shirt today…whihoo!!

Today is an awesome day!!!!!

I bought the Mickey Mouse shirt (in my picture) about 2 months ago as a “goal shirt.”

It is a Juniors Large! I have been buying ladies medium shirts for awhile but this Juniors large shirt was a little too tight when I bought it.

I know that others may have worn this shirt around with the stomach roll hanging out but I won’t do that. I wanted it to actually fit! It fits today!!!

I have lost 8 pounds in 28 days and this has made a total loss of 68 pounds since November of 2009! So cool!

Well little miss princess of 5 is not always the nice little princess you see in the Disney movies. She is more like Little Miss Attitude princess!

These 10 essentials were shipped to my front door for $20.05!

All this shipped for $20.05!

I am sharing again because this rocks!!!!!! I got all this from Alice.com, shipped to my door, for $20.05!

4-toothbrushes, 3 tubes of toothpaste, coffee, and 2 air fresheners!

I have to drive 15 minutes to buy the arm and hammer sensitive toothpaste so I love that I get it shipped, for free and I don’t have to spend any money on gas, or energy taking the kids! Plus I did not have to go out in the rain today…the FedEx guy did!

Bringing in negative energy from somewhere! ATTACK!

The last few days have been quite a disturbance in my positive law and I am not totally sure where it is coming from. I know I have not been as “UP” as I need to be but did not think it was this bad.

Here is what as happened so far.

1. I got a letter in the mail from my student loan company saying that I still owed money. I paid this off last month! I have been sending my payment to the SAME address for 3 years now, and they said they sent my LAST payment back because I sent it to the wrong address. Mind you, I have it set up in auto bill pay so I don’t write the address every time, and I checked…it went to the right address.

Tis the season for heart attacks!

This weekend has been one long weekend of raking leaves. Well it actually started a week ago.

The nice this is that my city will pick up your leaves if you rake them to the end of your yard, having them kind of hanging of the curb into the street.

There are 3 pick up times and this last Friday was the first, tomorrow the second, and the following day the third.

I did have a whole lot of leaves for them on Friday, but there are more. In fact, here is a picture I took of the 2nd batch I raked. So this is seriously a third of our leaves! Continue reading →

Look what I got from ALICE!

I was using Amazon.mom to get my Huggies diapers for dirt cheap for about 3-4 months and then BAM they ended it. Not that they ended the subscribe and save diapers but they told me that mine where “temporally unavailable” and I could not find them for the low price anywhere on their site. They were about $9 more a box if I wanted to re-sign up. The nice thing is that I have a free prime membership til like Jan or Feb 2012 but not so happy about the diapers.

I have used the heck out of my prime shipping though. In the long run I have saved more than my share in shipping costs.

I did want to find some cheaper options so I started Googling and found Alice.com. Shipping is FREE on everything. How sweet is that? So I ordered my first order and I bought toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant for me and the hubby, quart and gallon zip lock bags. It was shipped to my door for about $22.00.
