Gardening for exercise! finally fnished digging!

I have been digging out this garden for a few weeks now and finished it today! Well it has been more then the garden I am showing you in my video (below). I have dug out the entire side of the fence and planted, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and watermelon as well.
This has been a wonderful workout and I can feel it. My arms are always sore, so you know they are getting strong. I also have had sore abs so they are getting a good workout too.

OK Disney time for a NEW Princess movie, a REAL one please!

OK I love Disney, I do. I am a huge fan however I really want to see a different princess movie. How about not one where the woman spends her life wishing for her prince and he show up and automatically they are in love. Get what I mean?
Most movies have the woman chasing after the prince. I would like to see one where the prince chases the “average” girl, non-princess and she does not want him back,
she marries the average guy. The prince can even be nice and handsome but this time he does not get his pick of the women simply because he is the prince.
I get tired of the girl and prince falling in love in like 3 seconds and marrying that day because the prince “tells her they are getting married.” Then we wonder why our girls have a false sense of reality and stay with the first guy that shows interest. Really…how about a reality love story, by Disney, with a prince and a girl who’s life aspiration is to not be a princess but really find her true love.
The princess and the frog was close to this, I liked this one. Tiana actually had goals and reams beyond finding a husband to bare children for.
OK so there is my rant/vent for the day. I still love Disney and the old princess movies, I wold just like to see some reality now.

Ticks in my living room now, R U kidding me!

So last week I posted about my dog having a tick for the first time and today m y living room had one for the first time.
We sprayed the backyard last week and today I walked in the living room and saw a little brown bug and stepped on it and that stupid thing was still alive. I then bent over to look at it and the little buggies head perched up to look at me back and BAM, it was a
“TICK!” no wonder it would not squish.
Tick’s are so ridiculously creepy, that thing is gone forever now, thank goodness to isopropryl (sp?) alcohol! I checked the dog and the kids and myself and it least we are tick free. Now I can’t help but scratch all stinking day as I feel I have ticks crawling all over me. I hate that feeling!
In my future house I will NOT have trees and bushes. If we want shade we are buying a huge tent to perch up in the backyard. Again…I will NOT have anymore trees or bushes for bees and tick’s and bag worms to live in.
GEEZ this is frustrating and I can’t quit feeling all “heebie jeebied” now. Gross!

I just registered to be a bone marrow donor!
I just had to share as this is awesome! Everyone always says “I wish there was something more I could do.” Well, if you have said it, and you meant it, than can I ask you to check out this website and get your name on the registry?

Love has…NO BUTS!
Something we have started in our house over the last year is taking the “but” out. Let me explain.
You know when you are upset at someone and you say “I love you but…?” The but, to me, should not be part of any statement where love is involved. How about, “I love you very much, and am a little frustrated with you because you are not…” Take the “but” out, because love does not have a but, in my opinion.
My daughter has finally gotten used to this and she will catch me when I slip and say it to. I have also been trying very hard to start out with a positive before I say a negative. I do not get it all the time, but I get better every day. I like to start with, “I love you,” or “You are so smart,” You are so beautiful.” You get the point. Then I lose the “but” and try to reword it another way.
When it comes to me loving my family, there is never a but!
