Enjoy! More to come soon!
From photobucket
Two weeks a go I created a free word press blog and literally this is all I did:
Made 5 categories on my blog
Wrote ONE practice post that said “practice post.”
I went in again today and wrote another test post and when I went into publish it it said my blog was removed because I violated the terms of service.
You can imagine my face at this point because all I can think is, “I have not posted anything yet so how could I do that?”
My reasoning for even playing around with word press is because of my fear of my blog(s) being deleted because my hosting service does not like it. As you know some blog hosts are known for marking blogs as spam for no reason. I THOUGHT word press was a safer host but now I am not so sure.
How can my blog get deleted when I had only one post that said “practice” and I did not even have any followers yet!

Maybe this is the sign I need to stay with blogger. Anyone else out there have this issue over nothing. Anyone else worried all the time that you will wake up one morning with a deleted blog, ARGH!! Why does this have to be so difficult, it’s just a blog!
Anyone, advice please!!!!

At first I was doubting myself, which you know is not healthy. The reason why is that I bought 2 shirts from Old-Navy first that were large, because that is what I have been wearing, and they were really baggy by the end of the day. They were a tad bit baggy at first but I won’t wear tight shirts so I figured they would be OK. It only took about 15 minutes for me to realize that they did not look good, they were just too big.
So my question is…..Do the contestants really watch Survivor before they go on it? This may seem like a dumb question but I have quit watching this show for one very specific reason and it has to do with the contestants.
If you have watched or do watch the show then you get the “just” of it right? People make alliances and people get “screwed!” This is the way it is. You cannot win a million dollars without breaking alliances and stabbing people in the back. Hello…..it is common knowledge.
So the thing that drive me NUTS about this show is that there are still contestants that get offended and peeved off and down right nasty because they got stabbed in the back from an alliance. OK, so have they not watched the show before. Isn’t this the whole premise of the show?
I used to watch this show and after season 5 I was so sick and tired of hearing all the stupid whining I just stopped. My hsuband watches it and I have not watched it with him until the finale last night when Boston Rob finally won. Thank goodness he did because hoestly his personalitty drives me nutty. I may not like him but do strongly believe he desreerved to win the money. He played the game….period!
So my whole point is…if you are going to go on this show then shut-up the whining and expect to get screwed a few times on the show, it happens!
I liked the lawyer guy who simply said to the jury that Rob played the game and deserved to win, end of story. He did not have any questions for the last 3 contestants and did not whine about being voted off. He gets it.
OK there is my soap box for a minute. I feel better now. I told my husband that he was on his own again for this show. I don’t need to see anymore half naked women running around complaining that people are mean.
Thanks for reading!

As you know we are down to one income (and it’s not a great one) and things are getting tighter and tighter around here. Groceries and gas are going up and it has been 4 years without any raise for my husband. I have been applying every minute of the day to try and find some sort of online teaching job. I don’t want to put my kids in daycare and work somewhere full-time and to be honest, it would be a wash after paying for two kids in daycare anyway.
The cheapest I have found is $40 a day per child and that place is NOT great as I have had my oldest there before.
The nicer daycare/preschools are even more than that and I am uncomfortable letting strangers watch my kids anyway.
So I am job applying this week. Wish me luck on finding it lest one online class! I have 10 years teaching experience, you would think this would not be hard, but jeez it is so far!
If anyone hears of any part-time online teaching jobs let me know! I teach Health and Nutrition.
Anyways, I will be more active next week after I exhaust all places to post my resume. I will have my weekend hop Thursday night!
Have a good one!

Oh but still getting my workouts in, I can’t miss those. doing a Turbo Jam workout in the mid day and the P90X with the hubby (yes he is back at it again, yay) at night! So will have results to post next week too!
I had a lot of great comments from a lot of you lovely readers and they did help me a ton! This is what I have done over the past few days.
I sat my daughter down the day after I wrote this post (it needed to be on a calm day when we were not already fighting). I asked her if we could “make a deal” and she said “OK Mommy, what is a deal?” I chuckled and told her this:
“If you do not argue with Mommy when I ask you to do something then I promise I will not yell anymore, does that sound good?”
She said “Yes.”
I also told her how sorry I was for yelling so much and that I do not like it when I yell and will try very hard to stop. I then told her how much I loved her and how beautiful and perfect she is. I said, “sometimes we get into fights and that is not fun is it?”
She said, “Mom, it scares me when you yell and makes me sad.”
Oh my, did I feel like a crappy Mom at that point. I hugged her and told her that she did not deserve me yelling at her. I then said “do we have a deal?”
She said “yes!”
Over the past few days, I have to admit that there has been twice I started yelling and I stopped, took in a deep breath, and preceded to talk to her in a calmer voice.
For the most part, when she is not listening to me I simply have said, “Rae, remember our deal?”
She will then say, “Yes, Mom,” and 9/10 times she let’s out a big sigh and says “I will listen.”
It has been much better. I love that we are not fighting as much. We are definitely a work in progress but definitely working in the right direction!
Thanks for visiting me today! I hope you all have a very positive, yelling free day!
