I just signed up to be a beach body coach. I figured since I was working out with their products quite a bit and losing weight why not sign up to be a coach! If anyone is interested in doing the same I am looking to build my team and they are waiving the fee to sign up until Jan 7 2010. I am a member of the Disney Movie club and the Pinocchio movie is going into the vault in Jan or Feb 2010 so I decided to add it to my collection.  I did not really remember the movie, except for the basic story of him becoming a boy.

Is it just me or is this movie really strange.  It is right up there with Alice in Wonderland.  I am not sure I will ever feel inclined to watch it again.  There are so many things in the movie, you just go, “what the…?”

IDK is there anyone else out there that feels the same way or are there those that love this movie?  Just not my favorite I guess, but it adds to the Disney collection I can will my kids s someday!

I have been feeling down and out and plain sick for the last few days.  My husband brought home some sort of viral code last week and we all got it.  On top of that my son has been cutting teeth since Christmas eve and he has been up all night since then too so that means Mommy is not sleeping either.

I had a break down last night and both me and my husband knew it was high time Mom got some sleep.  I went to bed at 10pm and slept straight through until 7:30am.  I did not budge.  I did not even get up to pee like I usually do, I just plain CRASHED!

I felt so good about 2 hours after I woke up it was like I was born a new person.  I have been productive today, especially with my work outs.  for the first 2 hours of being awake I still felt horrible and thought I would have to go to the doctor but after a while I took a turn for the better.

My work out today consisted of…
*  170 second plank position
*  25 minutes of abs, buns, and thighs zumba DVD
*  30 m inutes of rapid zumba
*  60 arm curls with 10 pound weights in each hand
*  60 rows in squat position with the same 10 pound weights.

I still feel good and not off to the shower and then figuring out what is for dinner!

I was walking through the baby isle buying my son a new straw cup when I saw that this company was advertising on the front of their box “Healthy Meals”

Now maybe they compared their food label with what used to be in the food so giving them the benefit of the doubt it could be healthy compared to the old label. 

OK so it has vegetables and some nutrients in it but look what it does have as well

For me that cholesterol and sodium are way too high to be considered “healthy.”  Also, there is not enough dietary fiber for me either.  Maybe they should use a whole grain pasta instead and up the fiber.  The sugar is also too high for m e and this could be from the white starchy pasta.

That is fine if they want to advertise the good stuff it DOES have but I just can’t feel comfortable with it saying “healthy meals.”  Nah, not healthy enough for me to be a fan.

The sad thing is that people see what the largest part of the box is, so that is why companies put the positive words in big bold letters.  I guess I have learned to rip products apart with my nutrition schooling and I do this always.

Not ever feeding this to my child!

I have always wanted to try Zumba and one of my FB friends sent me a deal to buy this set of 4 DVDs for only $35 shipped and I had to jump on it as I have never seen it at this price before.  I got the DVDs 2 days ago and have done them every day and so far I LOVE IT! My only complaint, and its not a big deal, is that the 1st DVD gives you a great breakdown on the steps but the second one did break the steps down first.  Now, the first DVD does help with the others as it gives you and “idea” so it does allow you to catch on quicker.

I felt great, I could feel the burn, and it was totally fun!  I am a dancer at heart.  have danced most of my life, ballet, jazz, tap, modern, Irish Step and this is right up my alley for enjoyment.

This past summer I was walking with the kids and we passed by this house with these awesome HUGE purple leaves and I had to take a picture with my phone

Does anyone know what these leaves are called?  I loved them and want to plant some of these next spring.  They are gorgeous!

Well our fish is no its last fin and I am not sure what to do about it.  We have had it for 2 years and I hear form those who have fish that 2 years is a long time for a fish.

You can see in the picture below the swollen blue eye and this blue has started to show up all over the purple color the fish is normally.

Yes that big bulb on the right is the fish’s eye.

Anyway, I am stuck what to do. Is the fish suffering?  I don’t know.  He stays on top of the water in this spot always and rarely swims anywhere.  He eats and eats rather quickly when I put his food in every morning.  I knock on the glass and he responds by swimming for a minute or so but then back to this spot.  Sometimes he swims flat on his side and bends almost in half to try and turn around.

What do I do?  I don’t want to kill it if it is not suffering but how the heck am I suppose to know that?  Also, how the heck can I do that?  I don’t hunt or kill things except bugs and spiders so this is going to bother me a lot if I have to do it to the fish.

I keep hoping that the fish will die on his own quickly but it has been like this for about 3-4 weeks.

What should I do?!
